As a data controller we collect a variety of Data in order to deliver our services, and we will manage your personal data transparently, fairly and securely.

Postcode/telephone numbers and email.
We will also record a date of birth for all children/ young people that we photograph.
For children to be photographed on their own under the age of 13, we will require the family or guardian give their written consent.
Being a photographic business, we also create and manage images as per our contractual agreement.

WHICH THIRD PARTY DO WE SHARE PERSONAL DATA WITH :
We share your personal data with Mailchimp - our newsletter provider.
Mail Chimp data is transferred outside of the European Economic Area to United States under the protection of EU/US Privacy Shield.
On a very rare occasion we may share your address with a professional printing lab in order to send your print order directly to your address.

Your data is securely kept on a password protected PC with a back up system.
The PC is not connected to the internet and can therefor not be infiltrated by a third party.

We do keep your personal data beyond the statuary 7 years accounting purposes.
The reason is due to the highly personalised service of creating family memories.
Due to life’s unforeseen circumstances, we can be asked to provide photographs from a photography session taken 25 years earlier. It has become a regular occurrence to be asked to provide portraits taken 10 – 15 years earlier.
For this reason, it is important to keep the clients information to hand.
